The following information details the technical requirements for RockSolid DBA Out-Task support.
Remote Access Requirements
To support your environment we require remote VPN connectivity. We work will all major VPN vendors including OpenVPN, Microsoft VPN, Cisco and Citrix.
If you have a non listed VPN client we are still likely to be able to use it, assuming the client runs on Windows and it passes our security testing processes.
RockSolid Agent Requirements
The RockSolid agent requires a host on which to be installed. This is a separate host to any of the SQL Servers being monitored. The RockSolidAgent can be installed on a virtual server or share a server with other utility software.
The technical requirements for the RockSolidAgent are:
- .NET Framework v3.5
- Internet access
- 500Mb RAM
- 1GB disk space
